Medi-Clinic Design

This assignment proved to be rather interesting. Basically the brief description has been fully covered in the “post title”. Bit of research, trial and error and bob’s your uncle I had a simple design concept to work with. The first part of the brief’s instruction was, as just mentioned, to come up with a decent (workable) design concept for a small hospital or if you must a medi-clinic.

The location of the site was given to us. All that had to be done is take a quick run around and grab your ‘self some dimensions. Sounds easy? Rather time consuming.

Now, the twist comes into play when we were asked to incorporate a market and joint coffee shop. Which I gather is used to attract and keep the mopping visitors from constantly paroling the corridors.

Once a presentation board had been completed the next task was to design and detail the roof structure (as the concentration of the late classes had been on the detailing of roofs).

All in all, an enjoyable project to work on.
